It’s funny because I absolutely hated barbies but my great aunt would continually buy me more for Christmas. I usually gave them to my younger brothers instead. My way of playing with barbies was to ripe off their heads and try to flush them down the toilet. My grandfather Merry Chickmas vintage T-Shirt had to remove the toilet for my mom once to remove a barbie and her couch lol. Don’t ask why I hated barbies so much because honestly I have no clue. I did end up liking littlest pet shop when they came out though. My mom told everyone to get those and no more barbies lol.Not that it particularly matters, but I turned out straight af and loved Barbies when I was a kid. Just another toy figurine in the bin, really. She kicked Shredder’s ass more than once.

Are you me? I did the exact same thing. Had a massive aversion to any type of human dolls, but the real early Littlest Pet Shop sets and stuffed animals were my method of having toys I liked that met the gender norms my mother wanted (eye roll).I was big into Beanie BaMerry Chickmas vintage T-Shirtbies as a kid. My other friends were all into action figures, I just had adventures with Ringo Raccoon. On the other side, I was a major tomboy as a kid. I also had only male friends so when I realised I actually quite liked Barbie’s and dolls I felt kinda ashamed because they were “too girly” and I should like only boys things. Lmao it’s lucky my parents didn’t care what I played with – they were happy to buy me girly toys and let me wear boys clothes lol.

Me and my sister used to hang the head of Barbie’s with shoe laces from door handles. You’d just find them dangling there around the house. It’s a bit creepy when I think about it haha. Poor Barbie!I also hated barbies for some reason and lovedd petshops. The barbies always played the villains in my stories, in the end the petshops always defeated them. And then i would tie them up en throw them into their prison. :)I relate, although I would play with them, but only in absurd ways. I had oneMerry Chickmas vintage T-Shirttype of scenario, where some of my Barbies were evil, and force fed the other Barbies (I stuffed their clothes with other clothes so they looked fat), before sending them away to captivity, where they spent their last few moments together, but unable to move. It wasn’t that abused to me back then, but when I look back at
